Remioromen

This morning, when I was searched a new MV in Youtube, I found this Japanese song called Konayuki.
Actually Im not in to a rock genre, but after I listened to this song, I'm started to like this band.
So im gonna write a lil bit bout 'em. Remioromen was formed in December 2000 with their current members lined up and under Oorong Records.

"Konayuki" and "Sagatsu Kokonoka"
For release of  Sagatsu Kokonoka, they returned to their hometown to perform live in their old school gymnasium. In 2005, their songs, Konayuki and Sagatsu Kokonoka  was used in a choral arrangement for the drama Ichi Rittoru no Namida. For the release of the single Sagatsu Kokonoka was included in an arrangement with a string quartet. This gained a band a great deal of popularity and Konayuki became one of the best selling singles of 2005. In 2006, "Konyuki" won The Best Pop Video Award in MTV Video Music Award Japan.

Bunkface!- Malaysian Pop Punk band

INTRODUCTION

Bunkface is a Malaysian Pop Punk band from Klang, Selangor. The band consist of lead vocalist and guitarist Sam (Shamsul Annuar Bahrom), bass guitarist and backup vocalist Youk (Farouk Jaafar), lead guitarist Paan (Ahmad Farhan Hashim) and drummer Biak (past members)

They started as casual jamming session among four secondary school friends ended up in the formation a band, Bunkface. Although the band was formed in 2005, it was only in late 2006 when they caught the attention of the public through their participation  in the hit TV show Blastoff. One of the highlights of their experience as fresh young musicians happened in March 2006 when Bunkface won First place for the Battle of the Bands competition in UNISEL organized by ROTTW. This victory attracted a few magazine to write bout their band. 


Another sweet memories success came later that year when Bunkface snatched 1st place for the Battle of the Bands competition in University Malaya. With that accomplishment, Demoplanet.tv approached Bunkface and offered to sponsor a video clip for the song Hyper Killer. After garnering a truckload of new experiences, Bunkface began writing more and more new songs.


In December 2007, Bunkface released their 1st EP titled "Lesson of the Season". Fast foward to the present, Bunkface have been featured in ROTTW and interviewed on air numerous times on XFresh FM and Fly FM. 
Their first hit song Silly Lily was number 1 on Hitz.fm’s Malaysian Top Ten for 8 weeks and number 1 on Fly.fm’s Campur Chart for 10 weeks. Bunkface’s current hit and first Malay single Situasi has stormed to number 1 on XFresh FM and steadily stayed at number 3 on Era FM for 3 weeks. The band has performed at high school proms, charity events, product launchings, dinner galas, and gigs covering venues all around the Klang Valley, Malacca, Perak, Penang, Johor, Sarawak and Singapore.


Bunkface joined the Everyone Connect campaign by TMNet and sung the song Through My Window which was used in the campaign's television advertisement

In March 2010, Bunkface released their debut full album, Phobia Phoney. Is made up of 6 English songs and 4 Malays. Its including their hit singles such as "Situasi", "Revolusi", "Extravaganza", "Prom Queen", "Soldier", "Dunia" and "Escape Dance"
